Your pocket change can help to provide free pregnancy related counseling and support services through Birth Choice Pregnancy Resource Clinic of Jackson. If you or your child would like to help Birth Choice with their "Change for Life" promotion, please pick up an empty baby bottle at the D-wing or E-wing first floor desks on Sunday or Wednesday. Fill it with loose change, dollar bills, or even checks and return it to the church office or to Birth Choice by Father's Day, June 15. Thank you for helping to encourage women to choose life for their unborn babies!
Kim Laughlin's aerobics class will not meet in the month of May. Classes will resume on June 5 and continue to meet on Monday's and Wednesday's at 8 a.m. in the Courts. If you have any questions please call the Courts at 512-3810.
Get in shape at West Jackson Baptist Church with Kim Laughlin. She has over 20 years experience in fitness and is AFAA and ACE certified. She is offering aerobics on Mondays at 8:00 a.m. and Wednesdays at 12:00 p.m. in the Courts. The cost is $5 per class or $25 a month. It is just about time! VBS at West Jackson Baptist Church will be June 9-11, 2008. WE NEED YOUR HELP! Pray about you being involved as a worker, then stop by the display table in the Front Foyer and sign up to help us with this important event.
The church will discuss the proposed amendment on May 11 after the evening Worship Service and vote on it at the May 21st business meeting.

“Because We Believe” CDs will be available for pickup this Sunday in the front foyer following both morning worship services and before and after the evening service if you have already prepaid for your CDs. If you have not purchased any yet, it’s not too late! The are $15.00 each or $12.00 each if you buy 10 or more. Buy some for your family, friends, and coworkers.

Each Monday evening at 6:00 p.m. West Jackson’s mission team is at work in the Hartland Place Community. We are ministering to children, teens and adults by sharing the Love of Jesus through Bible study, being a friend and social activities. Volunteers are needed to help with the worship services at the New Southern Apartments (downtown) beginning Sunday evenings in March. The service will be a 6pm. Beginning in April childcare for birth – two year olds will be held in D-114. Three year olds and up will continue to go to the courts.
We currently have openings for Preschool Sunday School workers in both the 9:00 and 10:20 hours . . .
If you feel led to pray for spiritual renewal for our church, join us in A-136 the first Sunday evening of each month at 7:00 p.m. This started Sunday, May 6 and will be ongoing.
JEA will broadcast our Sunday morning TV service, Channel 6, at 5-6 p.m. the following Tuesday and again 10-11 a.m. the following Sunday. Sunday worship services are broadcast live on radio station SuperTalk 97.7 at 9 a.m. and on WIGH 88.7 at 10:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
There are several opportunities for ladies to participate in in-depth Bible studies at West Jackson.
