HELPING HANDS FOR AFRICA—Mulata Moba is a member of WJBC and was born in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), formerly known as Zaire. She has a burden to reach the people of her homeland through a gospel-focused sewing ministry (skills and machines) as well as through medical and educational ministries.  Ron Hale has talked with our International Mission Board leaders and has discovered that the DRC has a huge need for starting ministries and evangelistic work for Southern Baptists.  On June 4th from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m., there will be a Helping Hands for Africa fundraising event in our Fellowship Hall to benefit this ministry.  Be watching for more information and tickets for this event.
