Events Summer 2011

June 26-29th, our junior high students spent the week at Natchez Trace State Park for a week filled with team challenges, recreation on the water, awesome worship times, small group Bible studies and late night fellowships. The theme of the week was Collide and our students learned that when we collide with God, His truth and even other people, we are changed. They were challenged to put themselves in a position to collide with God and allow Him to change their lives!

June 11-18, 2011 we sent a team of students and adults to Guatemala to work with Casa Para Ninos Aleluya-a children's home that cares for and raises over 350 orphaned, abused and mistreated children. Our team helped with work projects around the children's home and spent time just loving on the children. We also worked outside of the children's home in the nearby village of Patzicia. We had a Block Party for the people in the village and also spent a couple of days in a school sharing the gospel with the children through Vacation Bible School.
