Southern Baptist disaster relief is Christian love in action, meeting urgent needs of people in crisis situations. Southern Baptists are organized for rapid response and make up the largest volunteer force in the U.S. for immediate ministry in times of hurricane, floods, tornados, and other unexpected disasters. Southern Baptist efforts are coordinated primarily through the Red Cross, and other national and state agencies.
