The Deacon Family Ministry of West Jackson Baptist Church takes the meaning of the word "deacon" literally. The deacons assume the roles of servants to meet the needs of the church family in whatever ways possible. Each family within the church is assigned a deacon. That deacon has the responsibility to keep in contact with the family and provide ministry in time of need.
